This young Magpie sat in the lilac tree and had a feast. He wasnt all all concerned that I was snapping away and let me get to within 2 feet of him.

Saturday 30th May Race For Life 2009

Completed the race for life 5K walk. No I didnt run!!
Val and I managed a good time, just under 1 hour. Picture of all of us except val who took the photo. Thanks everyone who sponsored us.

Celebrating 20 years married today. I really dont know where they have gone but I have to say that Dave has been my rock in all the years I have known him and I cant imagine ever being without him.

Thanks Bobbie for my fab pot you made at pottery class. She even signed it and dated it on the bottom, trouble is its so heavy dont think once its filled I will be able to look at it. Dont know what to get to put in it so any ideas please?

Ants was made to wear his birthday hat all day yesterday and even went out last night with it. Not sure where it is now! LOL

A BBQ get together to celebrate Dave and Ants birthdays and our 20th anniversary. It was a fab hot day, very unusual for a bank hol weekend. These are the sort of things I love best. Family all together.

Sat 23rd May

Went to B&Q to get some plants so we could do the hanging baskets. A little late this year but thought it would be good to take this picture and then again in a couple of weeks time to see the difference. That is if ANts remembers to water them while we are away!

On the drive over to Stoke Mandeville hospital for my appt this morning. Boy did it rain, later there was a stunning rainbow over MK when we were driving back but my camera just couldnt pick it up. SHAME

Unbelievable deal with good ol Tescos!
Got our club card points doubled for use in the wine dept. Bought the wine on the specials, mostly 3 for £10. Some of the wine was originally £8.99 a bottle!
Just look at the last amount to pay after using the tokens. 12 bottles of wine plus a couple other bits for the grand total of £3.79 Happy days!!!!!!!

A pressie to ourselves for our 20th anniversary. Gonna get good use in boston and vegas and deffo in florida with the kiddies. Cant wait.

Blake just wont walk without some support. He spent ages pushing his buggy round and round. Very expert at turning and steering it around corners.

Friday 15th May day 135

Went to ASDA straight from work for shopping today and the traffic going in was at a halt as these parents walked their kiddies accross the road entance to the car park. It was delightful to watch, they walked so slowly in between the cars and took them onto this central grass area where they stayed until I came back out and managed to get this shot. Absoloutely magical!

Dave put the out of date sausage rolls out for the birds. Think this is a Jackdaw just about to fly off with one. Havn't noticed him before usually the crows get first pickings followed closely by the starlings, sparrows and blackbirds. The odd Magpie inbetween. I love watching the antics and the pecking order so to speak!

Drove to Telford and back for work today 230 miles in all. Thank god for SATNAV and the M6 Toll which were both fab!!

Day 125

Started the ALLI tablets last Thursday and have been following a very low fat diet since, as am scared I may get the dreaded side effects LOL

Seems to be working for me, so far I appear to have lost approx 7 pounds and have just measured myself and have lost some inches from waist and hips

SO.......

I am a happy bunny

124 Bank Holiday

Dave helped my mum to cut her grass as she had been at my sisters for 4 weeks and it was about a foot tall. Trixie dog was tring to help! She likes to sit almost on top of you!

Covered the pages on the front and back. Inked the edges and added some embellies. Going to wait now until Linseys baby daughter is born to add some piccies and some more embellies.

These were given to me approx 8 years ago by someone I used to visit through work. He had loads growing in his back garden that he told me he had originally dug up from Linford Woods years and years ago before MK was built up.

Went over to see Aimee and the kids today. Had the day off to help her. This is the stunning view from her upstairs window.

Started the BACK fitness group at physio poday. The next 4 weeks I have to be there for 8.15 am. Really should try harder to get back in the gym proper!

The Wisteria is beautiful this year, the most flowers ever so far. Just wish it would grow a bit bigger though.

Caught Puss asleep in the sun on top of the BBQ, his favourite place as thats where the sun stays til it goes down.
