Took this of Dave disappearing into the off licence, he came out a few mins later with 2 bottles of white zinfandel duly drunk back at home xxxx

Saturday 18th July
Went down to visit my sisters for the weekend and to help my niece Lins move into her new flat. Came accross this lavender field today. You could smell it from a distance absolutely breathtaking colour. Loved the contrast of the trees against the lavender.

Took this of the lion at MGM. They say that they are kept at a ranch approx 12 miles from the strip. Beautiful to look at but not sure I agree with the captivity and showing them this way.Wednesday 17th
We stayed in the MGM Grand Hotel & casino. dave upgraded to a suite it was so big and comfy.Tuesday 16th
On the flight over to Vegas......another 7 and a half hours flying and minus another 3 hours...Monday 15th
Dinner with Pat at Legal Seafood, OH YUMMY was it good. Then onto the hotel as flying to Vegas early the next day. t was sad to say goodbye to Pat but she will be joining us in Florida this September... Sunday 14th
Pat took us to meet her friends Alberta and Peter and we went to look around a public garden. This lake was stunning, and the noise from the bull frogs was soooo loud.Saturday 13th

We went Whale Watching at Cape Cod today. It was absolutely fantastic. We saw about 40+ whales in all. They were feeding right by the side of the boat. Just have to get my tattoo now! Have some great shots of the Whale flukes that I wil try to upload to facebook asap.Tuesday 2 June 2009

Had a half day today and tomorow to look afer the little folk while Aimee went to see girls aloud in concert at birmingham NEC. Took them to the park. Tamsyn loved pushing Blake on the swing. They have such a great relationship, I hope it always remains this close. Love them both to pieces xx

And we didnt have to wait long for someone to find the fat balls!This young Magpie sat in the lilac tree and had a feast. He wasnt all all concerned that I was snapping away and let me get to within 2 feet of him.

Completed the race for life 5K walk. No I didnt run!!Val and I managed a good time, just under 1 hour. Picture of all of us except val who took the photo. Thanks everyone who sponsored us.

Celebrating 20 years married today. I really dont know where they have gone but I have to say that Dave has been my rock in all the years I have known him and I cant imagine ever being without him.

A BBQ get together to celebrate Dave and Ants birthdays and our 20th anniversary. It was a fab hot day, very unusual for a bank hol weekend. These are the sort of things I love best. Family all together.Sat 23rd May

Unbelievable deal with good ol Tescos!Got our club card points doubled for use in the wine dept. Bought the wine on the specials, mostly 3 for £10. Some of the wine was originally £8.99 a bottle!
Just look at the last amount to pay after using the tokens. 12 bottles of wine plus a couple other bits for the grand total of £3.79 Happy days!!!!!!!

Went to ASDA straight from work for shopping today and the traffic going in was at a halt as these parents walked their kiddies accross the road entance to the car park. It was delightful to watch, they walked so slowly in between the cars and took them onto this central grass area where they stayed until I came back out and managed to get this shot. Absoloutely magical!

Dave put the out of date sausage rolls out for the birds. Think this is a Jackdaw just about to fly off with one. Havn't noticed him before usually the crows get first pickings followed closely by the starlings, sparrows and blackbirds. The odd Magpie inbetween. I love watching the antics and the pecking order so to speak!

Started the ALLI tablets last Thursday and have been following a very low fat diet since, as am scared I may get the dreaded side effects LOL
Seems to be working for me, so far I appear to have lost approx 7 pounds and have just measured myself and have lost some inches from waist and hips

Dave helped my mum to cut her grass as she had been at my sisters for 4 weeks and it was about a foot tall. Trixie dog was tring to help! She likes to sit almost on top of you!Sunday 3 May 2009
