This morning while waiting for our friends to get up Dave and I took a walk. I took this picture minutes from our hotel of Nelsons Column. No snow here which is strange considering the amount we saw on the journey down yesterday.

A night out in London with friends at the comedy store. Fab comedians, we laughed so much. Then a few drinks before heading back to the hotel.

Friday 8th Jan 2010

ICICLES hanging from the window. In 20 years living here we have never seen this before. Goes to show just how cold it is at the moment.

The view from the office this morning. None of us were driving far today. Only emergency visits but plenty to do on the computer!

Woke to thick snow this morning, looks pretty but dreading driving in it.

Tuesday 5th Jan 2010

My nephew Josephs 5th birthday and I had taken the day off to visit and take pressies. But snow forecast and weather warnings in place so sadly I had to cancell my plans. I got to the petrol station on my way when the snow began so turned home. Decided to make a visit to petsmart to buy some fat balls and peanuts for the garden birds in case the snow is bad.

Day one of 2010.

The Chateauneuf-du-Pape, how long will it last?

I got to July in my quest to blog a photo a day for a year in 2009. Not a bad effort but my good friend Val managed the whole year.

Spurred on by her brilliant acheivement I am challenging myself to get further this year.

So here goes, wish me luck!
